Kingdom People: Teams serving the vision

When we meet Jesus, He tends to our spiritual needs, and we are opened up to a whole new world; a whole new identity. Part of that identity is that we join the family of God, brothers and sisters who have also encountered Jesus, and now we share a common goal: living for Jesus and longing for others to encounter Him too.

At All Nations, we have many teams of people, working together to implement our church vision, for all people to glorify God through knowing Christ, becoming like Christ and making Christ known.

One of those teams is the leadership team, disciples who have been changed by Jesus, and who desire to serve the church family.

In Ephesians 4:12, Paul talks about how Christ has given apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers- leaders- to, ‘to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.’

Leaders are not there to dominate, but to serve. Leaders want to equip and build up.

What is more, our leadership team has a heart to be spiritual mothers and fathers, raising up spiritual sons and daughters who step into the fulness of their kingdom identity.

The beauty of God’s kingdom is that we have all been created so diversely, with different gifts and passions, yet we are united by our faith in Jesus and commissioned to make Him known (Matthew 28:18-20).

Other significant teams we have are the board of trustees, elders, the staff team, and Home Church leaders.

Together, we are discipling and mobilising the body of Christ into everything that God has for her.

Our prayer is that the Holy Spirit would pour oil on us, to empower us again and again, enabling us to be all that He wants us to be. We trust that God, as the Master Builder, would shape us and build His kingdom here in Wolverhampton, the nation and the nations.

Prophetic Senses

Joshua 3:2-3. Jesus is beckoning us to come forward with Him, and companies of people who cross over to a fresh position will see advances of the kingdom that we have dreamt of. We have to move out of our position and follow God’s presence.

Isaiah 54:2. Enlarge the place of our tents, stretch our tent curtains wide and do not hold back. Releasing the apostolic in enlarging and then strengthening the stakes, pastorally and through home churches, there will be a dispossessing of enemy territory and an invasion of God’s family.

Genesis 49:22. God wants us to be rooted and fruitful, and to go deeper and higher, knowing Him and seeing Him move in the nations. We are an organism not just an organisation, a pulsating being that goes across the city, nation and nations. We beat with one heart and one vision.

We are all caught up in a heavenly narrative, with Jesus as our King, and we need everyone to play their part.

It is the most exciting adventure to be part of!
